HOHDMV CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA 2022

On Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM, The House of Healing will be hosting its first Free Christmas Shopping Extravaganza in an effort to serve the community in the middle of the holiday season with school supplies, toiletries, clothing, shoes, pampers, children’s toys, and non-perishable food.  We are inviting the entire House and House friends to join us in this service effort for the community by making donations.  Santa will be onsite from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. An exhaustive list is available below and a volunteer sign-up sheet has also been created to make sure that we have a proportional amount of items and volunteers.

Please begin bringing clothing, food, and school supplies on October 9, 2022.  The clothing should be new or like new and must be dry-cleaned.  Collections will happen each time the doors are open!  That means every Sunday, and during our anniversary services in the month of October.  Pastor is asking each member to sign up for one day to help sort items (November 19, December 3, 10, 14, 15, or 16) AND to be present to serve at the Free Christmas Shopping Extravaganza on December 17, 2022.

This is an opportunity for us to show who we really are as we are growing as a church family.  God has called us to build Him a House and to bring healing to the community in which we have been placed to serve.  Let’s continue to make a lasting impact on our brothers and sisters of this community by being in God’s hands.  As we serve to the least among them, we also serve unto God…Let’s lend to God!
